Jessy is a singer-songwriter/pianist in Austin, Texas. Her melancholy, indie-folk style has been described as “dreamy”, “heartfelt”, “melodic”, and, at times, “haunting”. Inspired by artists like Joni Mitchell, Lana Del Ray, Tori Amos, Iris DeMent and even Styx, Jessy’s songs cover topics such as love, being a woman, and family.

In addition to playing around the Austin area solo and with a backing band, she is a working pianist, choir director, and private teacher (piano, voice, and composition/songwriting) in South Austin.

She’s currently working on her debut album “The Ghosts Put On Their Shoes”.
